Small package, big suprise September 30, 2009 Shoe Lover (Naperville, IL) 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
Probably one of the most efficient on the market. A good engineering design to disperse the light and very bright for 3AA and 72 hours of battery life. Will be buying a few more.
Potent lighting in a petite package July 31, 2009 Weston Walker 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
I bought this lamp as more of a joke than anything. Sure enough i took it on our most recent camping trip and i was blown away at how much light it emits. It will easily light up a tent or room on its full setting plus it only takes 3 AA batteries which is great since 90% of my camping electronics are AA. This is a serious lantern if your backpacking or need something small and lightweight. Infact, this lamp outperforms my 3D 3-LED Energizer Eveready lantern.
Great Compact Lantern September 23, 2009 J. SOULE (Pacific Northwest) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
For it's size and batteries it puts out a ton of light. It's built sturdy and is easy to operate.
It's my new favorite compact lantern and is so much safer than carrying liquid fuel lanterns and no Carbon Monoxide to worry about in your tent or house.
Mini Lantern December 16, 2009 Donald J. Deserano (Toledo, Oregon United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I love these lights. We use them for power outages. They provide adequate light for seeing around the house. And they look cute too.
Good bang for the buck lantern! April 18, 2010 G. Scales (Mcminnville, OR United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This lantern is not as bright as the D cell lanterns but is pretty bright for 3 AA batteries.
Very good quality.......and the batteries are not that hard to put in.
The method for installing the batteries are are little different from what your used to but not difficult.
This lantern has the flashing strobe function which could be used as a flare if you were along side the road. So I plan to carry one in my car and have one in the house.
If you need to illuminate a large are maybe you should consider the D size lantern.
Good deal for the money.
